This is 43% of children aged 2 to 17 in the region scheduled for vaccination against measles, rubella, and mumps, who for some reason missed this vaccination.

In Ukraine, more than 117,000 children received missed vaccinations against measles.

Children need two doses of measles, rubella, and mumps (MMR) vaccine for full protection. According to the National calendar of preventive vaccinations, children are given them at 1 year and 6 years.

If the child for some reason missed the first or second vaccination, they must be made up.

If a child older than 7 years has not had any vaccination against measles, he is given two vaccinations with a minimum interval of 1 month.
