An outbreak of acute intestinal infection among children aged 6 to 16 years at one of the mountain recreation centers was registered in Lviv region.
A total of 14 children fell ill, 7 of them were hospitalized in the infectious disease department of one of the hospitals of the Lviv region. On the 7th, they undergo outpatient treatment. Condition of patients of medium severity.
Specialists from the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Production and Consumer Service, Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine are working to establish the probable cause of the disease in the outbreak.
