The incidence of Lyme disease in Lviv region in 2022 (compared to 2021) has increased by more than 2 times! 278 cases of Lyme disease were reported (+134 cases compared to 2022)
In 70% of cases, the infected tick was sucked into the territory of the Lviv district.
This year, in the first 4 months, 25 cases of Lyme disease have already been recorded among residents of Lviv Oblast
The team of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention will inform about preventive measures against tick bites, as well as about diseases caused by an infected tick. To be continued
