Food that contribute to increased immunity


Today is the day of immunity. And what foods help to increase it? The Lviv Regional Center for Control and Prevention of Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine informs. Red bell pepper is a source of vitamin C (it is even better than an orange). It also contains vitamins B1, B2, B9, P, PP and carotene. The highest concentration of vitamins is near the pepper stem, which is often trimmed.

The fruits of bell peppers are three -chamber and four -chamber, they are also called male and female respectively. The pepper is more vitamin C than in orange, but it is not necessary to neglect citrus.

Orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin, clearance, pomelo, bergamot (yes, it is also citrus) and other citrus fruits will give viruses a fight. Still citrus rich in B vitamins and contain many volatiles

Garlic contains selenium that affects the immune system.

It also contains potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins B and C, manganese, iodine and volatiles.

Broccoli contains fiber, calcium, manganese, iodine, folic acid, vitamins A, B6 and C.

Vitamin A in broccol is more than in other types of cabbage, and calcium in it is more than in milk.

Almonds contain many unsaturated fats that suppress inflammatory processes in the body.

Turmeric contains vitamins C, K and vitamins of group B.

Spinach is not just called the super product.

It contains vitamins A, B2, B6, K, Omega-3 fatty acids, iodine, phosphorus, zinc and more.

Lutein is an important component of spinach. It increases immunity and protects against cancer.

Important: In heat treatment, spinach loses some of the beneficial properties, so it should not be cooked for a long time.
