Liliya Mykhailiv - Head of the Infection Control Department of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine took part in the monitoring visit of the Public Health Center of Ukraine to the Lung Health Center.
The issue of organizing tuberculosis infection control measures in health care institutions is relevant, regardless of the level and type of medical care.

Rapid identification of a patient with TB symptoms.
Isolation and separate placement of infectious patients, distribution of patient flows.
Timely start of treatment of TB patients.

For the implementation of the Grant Agreement of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria "Accelerating progress in reducing the burden of tuberculosis and HIV infection in Ukraine" for the years 2021-2023, as well as for the purpose of providing organizational and methodological assistance on issues of infectious control of tuberculosis and training of responsible specialists to assess the effectiveness of ventilation and ultraviolet bactericidal irradiators, continues for two days
a monitoring visit to our institution with the participation of the chief specialist of the Department of Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Control, the Public Health Center of Ukraine Yanytska Iryna, together with the project manager of the PATH organization, Roman Rodyna, and the representative of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Mykhayliv Liliya.
During the visit, the team of specialists met with the management of the Lung Health Center, visited the department of our hospital, talked with patients and doctors, held consultations at workplaces.
We appreciate this opportunity for professional improvement, because in this way we can maintain our level and become better in order to provide quality medical care to our patients.
