"Respect, take care, get vaccinated"

Last week, 359 residents of Lviv Oblast fell ill with the acute respiratory disease COVID-19. 63 patients were receiving inpatient treatment. Unfortunately, 2 deaths were registered among patients aged 58 and 89.

Since the beginning of the epidemic season, the incidence of COVID-19 has been increasing. Elderly people are at risk.

That is why specialists of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in all regions are intensifying informational and explanatory work with the population about the importance of vaccination.

As part of the nationwide information campaign "Respect, care, vaccinate", which is implemented with the support of the USAID project "Development of a sustainable public health system", which is implemented by the Pact organization in Ukraine, experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in all regions conduct field vaccination sessions to communities and explain the importance of vaccinations, especially for the population at risk: people over 60 years old, people who have weakened immunity or co-morbidities and are at risk of severe course and death due to coronavirus disease.

Vaccination against COVID-19 remains the only effective method to strengthen immunity and prevent complications during the illness.

Vaccinations against COVID-19 are free of charge, you can get vaccinated at vaccination points or in an outpatient clinic by making an appointment with your family doctor.

Flu vaccines are available at pharmacies in each region.

Take care of yourself and your health! Vaccinate yourself and take care of your parents!
