We will take care of comfortable, safe sleep and health

On World Sleep Day, let's talk about a bed, mattress, pillow and blanket that are free from pests and parasites. The bed becomes an ideal place for various viruses, bacteria and microorganisms.

One gram of house dust can contain from 200 to 15 thousand dust mites!

Most of them can be found in the bedroom, less in the living room, and even less in the bathroom

Dirty bedding can cause neurodermatitis, eczema, and also lead to chronic forms of rhinitis and other ailments of the upper respiratory tract. Allergy manifests itself in the form of conjunctivitis, sneezing, runny nose. Itching of certain areas of the skin. The most serious ailment they cause is bronchial asthma.

Who "lives" in our bed?

The most common "inhabitant" in the bed is the so-called bed mite

These are very tiny insects that are not visible to the naked eye. They live in our mattresses, pillows, bed linen. They feed on the scales of dead human skin.

Parasites cannot move from one apartment to another on their own. Drafts and people "help" them in this. We carry them on clothes, shoes, and furniture

The danger lies not in the ticks themselves, but in their excrement. In one day, the tick emits up to 15 fecal particles. They have the ability to cause allergies. A runny nose, sneezing and coughing attacks, nasal itching may appear, asthma attacks may occur, bronchial asthma may develop

In order for your sleep to be sound and healthy, follow these rules:

Simple rules that will help you stay healthy and have comfortable sleeping conditions. Change your bed linen every week! Children and people with allergies and asthma should change their bedding more often - once every 2-3 days.

Remove dust-collecting items from the property. Soft toys should be stored in closed cabinets. It is worth giving up fluffy carpets and soft furniture. Do the cleaning with a vacuum cleaner

Home slippers, shoes with a fluffy lining must be washed once a month with powder and dried in the fresh air

Clean the house using disinfectants

Wash bed linen at a temperature above 60 °C. Iron laundry, towels, pajamas, children's underwear

Take a shower before going to bed, so you wash off a lot of bacteria

Ventilate the room regularly

Pillows, duvets, pillowcases, mattresses and blankets should be dry-cleaned at least once a year

People who are very sensitive to dust should not sleep on pillows, mattresses with cotton wool or feathers. It is better to replace them with synthetic rubber. Replace the old pillows filled with feathers with new ones with a different filling material

Sleep in a clean bed is stronger, and it is better to fall asleep with the aroma of fresh bed linen. Do not forget to get enough sleep, it would be ideal to follow the 8/8/8 rule - eight hours for work, rest and sleep
