World Thrombosis Day

Thrombosis is a condition where a dense blood clot forms in the vessels, which can block normal blood circulation.

This can lead to serious complications, including myocardial infarction and stroke.

Blood coagulation disorders (for example, increased production of fibrin) thrombi can form even without damage to blood vessels.

Signs of thrombosis: pain, tenderness in the calf or thigh, swelling of the leg, foot or ankle, redness, noticeable discoloration, warmth.


Symptoms of pulmonary embolism:

- shortness of breath,

- rapid breathing,

- chest pain, which may increase with deep breathing,

- accelerated pulse,

- dizziness, loss of consciousness.


To protect yourself from thrombosis, you need:


Eat more plant foods.

Drink enough water.

Don't forget to consult a doctor for preventive examinations and treatment of diseases that lead to thrombosis.
